Yandex presents neural network recognizing over 10 languages

MOSCOW, Jun 30 (PRIME) -- Cloud platform Yandex Cloud, part of Russian Internet company Yandex, has unveiled a neural network on the machine learning base that recognizes more than 10 foreign languages simultaneously, the service said on Thursday in a statement.

“Thanks to the new neural network, companies will find it easier and faster to create multi-lingual voice assistants and multi-lingual voice robots for call centers with a huge flow of clients,” the company said.

Artificial intelligence understands not only English and French, but also more rare languages, like Danish and Finnish. The model identifies short and long phrases, names, addresses, and numbers. The network can switch to another language at any moment.
